— I can't say it is an easy start because the coaches warned us before the game that this team has skill, and we shouldn't relax. However, there was a moment in the second quarter when we did let our guard down. After a strong start, we believed the game would go smoothly, but they proved the opposite and fought back.
— How did your mindset for this game compare to the Kondrashin and Belov Cup match?
— We watched the video, worked on the mistakes we made in the previous game, and came in fully focused and motivated. It was the first game of the season, especially in front of our home fans. We were highly energized. Thankfully, we won. We have a lot to develop, it's the start of the season, and we're still getting to know each other.
