Igor Volkhin will spend the season in Avtodor

Forward Igor Volkhin moves to basketball club Avtodor on loan until the end of the 2025/26 season.

Volkhin joined the Saint Petersburg team in July 2020. During his time with Zenit, he became a champion of Russia and the VTB United League, won the Russian Cup, twice claimed the VTB United League Supercup, won the Kondrashin and Belov Cup four times, and reached the EuroLeague quarterfinals.

In the first half of the 2024/25 season, Igor played for Zenit, appearing in 16 games, averaging 1.9 points and 1.1 rebounds in 7 minutes per match. In January, he moved on loan to Pari Nizhny Novgorod, where he played the second half of the season. For the Nizhny Novgorod team, he appeared in 14 games, averaging 8.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.5 blocks in 25 minutes on the court.

Unfortunately, Igor suffered an injury in the final match of the regular season and was unable to help Pari NN in the playoffs. His recovery took place in Saint Petersburg under the supervision of Zenit’s medical staff.
