Zenit — 2023/24

The 2023/24 season started for Zenit with a victory in the Kondrashin and Belov Cup, which took place in St. Petersburg in mid-September. Our team managed to win the cup for the third time in a row. In the same September, another victory came, this time in the VTB United League Supercup. Our team lifted this trophy for the second time in a row. In the quarterfinals, Zenit defeated the Turkish team Besiktas, in the semifinals they were stronger than Pari Nizhny Novgorod, and in the finals we outplayed Lokomotiv Kuban. Then the season in the VTB United League began, and simultaneously in the Russian Cup. In March, the Final Four ended, where Zenit also came out on top. As for the United League, the St. Petersburg team reached the semifinals but lost to CSKA. In the bronze medal series, our team left no chances for Lokomotiv Kuban and won the series 3-1.
