Zenit-2 is ready for a new season

Last season was the most successful in the history of Zenit's farm club. In the Super League championship, our second team reached the playoffs for the first time and stopped one step away from the podium.

After signing a contract with guard Daniil Aksenov the formation of the team is completed. The contract with the Russian Superleague champion and last season's playoff MVP of Dynamo (Vladivostok) is signed for 1 year.

Guards: Elkhan Akhmedov (born in 1998), Ivan Prokopenko (2004), Dmitry Rodionov (2004), Semen Burinskiy (2005), Daniil Aksenov (1995).

Forwards: Ilyas Abdul (2004), Egor Evstafiev (2006), Timofey Vashchenko (2006), Mikhail Dulkay (2005), Pavel Zemskiy (2004).

Centres: Daniil Kirilyuk (2003), Vladislav Samukhin (2004), Ilya Krivykh (2006).

The team staff included: head coach Oliver Popovic, assistant Dmitry Vavilov, strength and conditioning coach Evgeny Akolzin, doctor Vyacheslav Penshin, masseur Andrey Kozlov and team manager Mikhail Bogatov.
