Zenit will compete in the VTB United League Supercup
The Zenit Basketball Club will take part in the 2025 VTB United League Supercup, which will be held on September 24–25 at the Belgrade Arena in Belgrade. For the first time in history, the tournament will take place outside of Russia.
As in the very first Supercup, the competition will follow a Final Four format. The battle for the trophy will feature last season’s VTB United League finalists — Zenit St. Petersburg and CSKA Moscow; the tournament hosts — Serbia’s Crvena Zvezda; and the EuroLeague newcomer — Dubai from the United Arab Emirates. The semifinals will be played on the opening day, and the third-place game and final will take place on September 25.
Throughout their participation in the VTB United League Supercup, the Blue-White-Sky Blues have twice won the tournament, as well as claiming silver and bronze medals. This time, Zenit will aim to bring the trophy back to St. Petersburg under the leadership of their new head coach Aleksander Sekulic.
The full schedule for the 2025 Supercup will be announced at a later date.
