Evgenia Chikunova: "I really liked basketball!"
— From your interview that you gave to our football colleagues in December last year, we learned that that was the first time you visited football. And how are things going with basketball?
— This is my first time here too, and I really, really liked it here. The last quarter was incredibly dynamic, and I hope that I will be able to attend your match again in the future.
— From the first view, what features can you identify in basketball?
— This is a big dynamic throughout the game. Everyone is constantly running around the floor, trying to score. I really like it.
— Do you know anything about Zenit Basketball Club?
— I know that Zenit took bronze in the season that just ended. Unfortunately, because of swimming, I don't always get to watch, since the time of the matches coincides with the time of my practice.
— At the CSC Arena, we have literally just finished a gala match within the framework of the SPIEF. Both teams had one Zenit player each. How do you think they stood out from the general mass?
— Yes, it was noticeable that every team has professional athletes. In general, I really liked the idea that professionals play together with people who may be involved in sports, but on a different level. Overall, it looked very interesting.
— Zenit recently closed the season, which, by the way, was our tenth anniversary season. Our players and coaching staff are slowly going on vacation. What are your plans for this summer?
— Keep working. I still have competitons ahead, at least the closest one is the Russian Cup final. I'm getting ready and I'll try to swim with maximum efficiency.
— But the new season is just around the corner. Will you come to us again?
— Yes, with pleasure! I will be only glad to come, I really liked basketball!
