A traditional gala match was held in St. Petersburg as part of the SPIEF 2024

June 8, 2024
On June 7, Zenit Basketball Club, together with the sports platform of the Roscongress Foundation — RK Sport and Trade Union Sports Club, held a traditional basketball gala match as part of the sports program of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2024.

For the third year in a row, the Roscongress Cup was held at Zenit's home ground, CSC Arena, in the format of the traditional confrontation between St. Petersburg and Moscow.

Politicians, businessmen, athletes, artists, and public figures took part in the match.

Among the honored guests were also the President of the VTB United League Sergey Kushchenko, the executive director of the Russian Basketball Federation Vladimir Dyachok and ex-Zenit forward Sergey Monia.

The fight ended again with a minimal difference. The victory, as well as both times before, was won by the hosts — 74:73.
