Xavier Moon returns to St. Petersburg!

Zenit Basketball Club has signed Xavier Moon. The agreement with the 31-year-old American guard runs through the end of the 2026/27 season.

Moon previously played for the Blue-White-Sky Blues during the 2024/25 season. In a Zenit jersey, he appeared in 24 VTB United League games, averaging 13.5 points, 5.0 assists, 4.0 rebounds, 1.2 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game. He was also named VTB United League MVP of November 2024.

In January 2025, Moon suffered a right knee injury and was forced to miss the remainder of the season. Together with Zenit, he became a silver medalist of the VTB United League and the Russian Championship, won the Kondrashin & Belov Cup, and claimed bronze at the Super Cup. After leaving the club, the guard continued his rehabilitation process.
