Neno Dimitrijevic: "Hopefully we are going to keep improving like a team"
— Neno, congrats on the win. You were very effective scoring two-pointers. Did you have a plan to score as much as you can?
— I mean I always just play the game and whatever the game gives me but we are in a preparation phase now. We are getting to know each other. So, hopefully we are going to keep improving like a team.
— I suppose you remember those feelings playing here in St. Petersburg as a guest and now it's your home court. Do you feel any difference?
— Yeah, it's always nice to play in big arenas against big clubs. It was always the derbies against the top-4, was always a special game. Now I'm on the St. Petersburg, on Zenit side. Hopefully we're gonna have a successful season.
— You fell on the floor, then you were sitting during the game. Did you feel cramps or something like that?
— Just a little bit cramp, nothing important. Just like I said we are in preparation, the body needs to get used to the season. It's okay, nothing special yeah.
— 19-year old Ilya Krivykh made his official debut for Zenit. He scored 8 points, he is making progress. What do you think about his performance?
— He played a great game. He has to continue on this path, improving every day, learning from the older players, stay humble and keep working but great game.
— How important is the fan support even during the preseason games?
— For sure it's always nice to have people coming to the game especially to the preseason game. We are still in the process of the preseason but it's always nice to have the support.
— Pavel Zemskiy scored the 100th point tonight. Are you expecting some burgers or pizza for him?
— Maybe sushi. I like sushi, yeah (laughing).
— Tomorrow we're going to play against UNICS. Is it special feeling for you?
— I mean, yeah. I've spent an amazing two seasons there. It's a lot of love between me and a lot of people there, so it's going to be a special game for sure, yes.
