Omari Spellman: "I wanted to come out and give it all I have for my teammates"
— Omari, 15 points, 2 blocked shots from you. How would you rate your game?
— I just tried to play hard. Coming out of a little bit of a slump. I haven't played my best basketball the last few games so I wanted to come out last game before the break and give it all I have for my teammates. Just come out with a win.
— How difficult it was to move first to Moscow, then here to Perm and playing for the third game?
— Ah it's hard you know. coach talked about it all the week, you know, with the knowing that you are going home and you don't want to lose focus. So we definitely put emphasis on tonight's game and I'm glad we came out with a win on the road.
— So just two losses in all these games from the beginning of the season, so how would you evaluate that period?
— We're playing really good basketball, I think everyone's figuring out how we play together and we're trying to figure out how we mesh, but so far we're getting a lot of wins, we're second place right now and we just want to play our best basketball going into the playoffs.
— We're always talking about team chemistry this season. Do you think something has already been found?
— We're just getting more familiar with each other. Guys are figuring out how to play off each other, where they're going to get their shots and how we operate our defense. So I think we only get better from this point on.
— And finally, women's football club Zenit yesterday won the third gold in a row. Please congratulate the girls because they're awaiting some votes from you.
— Congratulations women's football team! We're proud of you. Keep it going!
