Dmitry Filippov, Zenit U21’s guard:
We played two good games. Even though Avtodor-2 is not in the best shape right now, our team played with discipline, which allowed us to defeat our opponent with ease. It's evident that with each game, the team is becoming more cohesive. However, we are not relaxing and are preparing for upcoming games.
Roman Knyazev, head coach of Zenit U21:
Despite the score, the opponent caused enough problems, especially in the first game. They prepared well and were able to neutralize our attack. It took us a while to fix the situation. It's great that our players can adapt to the opponent and get out of difficult situations.
The next round of the VTB United Youth League will also take place at home on October 17 and 18. Both games against PARMA U21 will start at 17:00 St. Petersburg time. Admission is free for all fans.
