Trent Frazier: “I think I’ve grown mentally”
— Hello, Trent! We are glad to see you in St. Petersburg again. How did you spend this summer?
— I spent my summer with my family, with fiancée. Met my old friends, it was very nice to see them, familiar faces. It’s always great to get home, spend time with your family, relax a little bit, watch TV, watch movie. Just do what you used to do over the summer. I’m excited that I’m back. Can’t wait to get back to work. I’m ready to go. A lot of different faces. I’m very excited for this year.
— Did you have an opportunity to practice on your own?
— Yes, of course. Gyms are everywhere over there. I always tried to stay in the gym as much as I can. Like I said, also took some time to let my mind let go away a little bit, just sit back and relax a little bit.
— What changes in your personality have you noticed since the end of the last season? Perhaps you are going to take more responsibility in crucial moments next season?
—I think mentally I’ve grown. It’s my second full year in Zenit. Same coaching staff, just happy to be playing for the familiar faces. It’s helpful for me, cause I can continue to gain knowledge from these guys. I got a lot more experience now, more depth and more opportunity for me to continue to learn. I think I’ve grown mentally, cause I know what role am I going to play. Very excited.
— Zenit turned 10 years on Sunday. What would you like to say to the fans?
— Congratulations, Zenit! I’m excited and happy I can be a part of this club. Unbelievable club, unbelievable fans! I appreciate what you guys do.
— What are your expectations of the upcoming season?
— If you look around you see a lot of different faces. You just figure out who you are during the preseason. Figure out the identity. We should come together and try to chase our goal.
