— I'm glad to see you too. This summer was no different from the previous ones in terms of preparation. I managed to rest and get in shape to be at the top of my game at the start of the training camp.
— How exactly did you keep fit?
— As usual, light runs, the gym, and of course, basketball is a must. I worked with a personal trainer, so the preparation was progressive.
— New players joined the team. You have played against Andrey Vorontsevich several times, and now you will be on the same team. Have you had the chance to talk, and are you happy to have such a partner?
— Yes, I am certainly happy. First of all, he is an experienced player. We have had a little chat; he’s a good guy. I think we will find common language. I consider this transfer to be a definite strengthening.
— Alex Poythress has also returned, and we are glad to welcome him back to St. Petersburg. They say an old friend is better than two new ones. Do you agree regarding Alex?
