Zenit officially closed season with the fans

Zenit Basketball Club finished the season on Saturday, June 1, but that was on the court; the traditional end of the 2023/24 season, together with the fans, took place last night, June 4, at the Zenit Basketball Academy.

The event began with an introductory speech by the Club CEO, Alexander Tserkovny. Alexander summed up the results of the season, after which he gave a word to the team head coach Xavi Pascual, and the players, Sergey Karasev and Kyle Kuric.

Of course, not only they communicated with the fans, but all the blue-whites players. In the "question-answer" format, the basketball players answered all the questions that interested St. Petersburg basketball fans. We hope that everyone who came to the meeting enjoyed and got a boost of emotions from the team.

Separately, we congratulated our active supporter Igor Bulgakov, who for the second year in a row breaks the "spool" — that is, supports the team at all home and all away matches of the season. The incredible numbers of our most active fan:

• 62 games (29 home and 33 away);
• 12 cities (Moscow, Krasnodar, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Perm, Samara, Krasnoyarsk, Saratov, Tambov, Nizhny Novgorod) and 3 countries (Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan). In some cities, Bulgakov was not once or even twice!
• 86 trips for Zenit, and since May 11, 2021 — 60 guest meetings continuously!

We really appreciate the dedication of both Igor and each fan individually.

At the end of the meeting, a traditional autograph session was held — everyone could get autographs and take pictures with any Zenit basketball player or coach.
