Zenit U21 defeated Avtodor-2 in both away matches of the VTB United Youth League round held in Saratov on December 25 and 26.
The first match ended with a score of 45:89 in favor of the Blue-White-Sky Blues, and the second match concluded with a score of 64:94.
As a result of the first half of the regular season, Zenit's youth team is in 2nd place in the standings, having achieved 24 victories.

Roman Knyazev, Zenit U21 head coach:
It's great that we reinforced the festive mood with good results before the New Year. I thank the players, the coaching staff, and the management. We had a decent first round. We could have done even better, but it is what it is. We received food for thought on what we need to work on. We will try to perform no worse in the second round and, if possible, show a higher quality of play and back it up with results.
The Blue-White-Sky Blues will also play their next matches away. After the New Year holidays, Zenit U21 will face SSOR Lokomotiv Kuban in Krasnodar. The games will take place on January 12 and 13, with both matches starting at 14:00 Petersburg time. The broadcast will be available on the League's website and on VK Video.
