The Blue-White-Sky Blues is preparing to play their final match of 2025, which will take place tomorrow, December 23, in St. Petersburg. The meeting with the Bosnian team Igokea will be part of the 4th round of the group stage of the WINLINE Basket Cup. More details can be found in our preview.
Opponent
Just over two weeks have passed since the first game between Zenit and Igokea, which took place on December 4 in Laktasi. As a reminder, the Petersburg team secured a guest victory thanks to a buzzer-beater from Frazier beyond the arc — 80:83.
After the loss to Zenit, the tough streak for the club from the Republic of Srpska in Bosnia and Herzegovina did not end. First, Nenad Stefanovic's team lost to Dubai (74:88) and Split (93:98 in overtime) in the Adriatic League. Then, Igokea fell to Galatasaray (65:82) in the FIBA Champions League, finishing last in their group.
However, before heading to St. Petersburg, the Bosnians defeated the Serbian team FMP with a score of 85:69, approaching the next match in the WINLINE Basket Cup in a better mood.

Head-to-head
For Zenit, this will be the fourth match in this tournament, while for Igokea, it will be the third. This Tuesday, the teams will play only their second head-to-head match in history.
