Zenit forward Dmitry Uzinskiy  shared his thoughts ahead of the home game against Pari Nizhny Novgorod. The match against the Volga team will take place on the court of CSC Arena tomorrow, November 18. The game will start at 19:30, and tickets are still available on the club's website.

— Dmitry, how has the preparation for the upcoming game gone?

— As usual. We had enough time after the game against MBA-MAI. We managed to rest and recover properly. We analyzed Nizhny Novgorod’s game and focused on the team’s strengths. The results of their recent matches speak for themselves — they have found their rhythm.

— What should be the main focus on Tuesday?

— Isaiah Washington is currently showing very productive and high-quality basketball. Overall, Nizhny has a very balanced team, but Washington’s game, of course, stands out.

— What is the team’s mood going into the match?

— After a series of losses, we managed to achieve a long-awaited victory in front of our fans. That’s encouraging. We want to continue in the same spirit. We understand that basketball fans in St. Petersburg have been waiting for bright victories. So, it’s a very emotional moment for us, and we’re aware of that.

— What would you like to say to those who are concerned about Zenit?

— Come support us on Tuesday. We have two more games before the break, and we will give everything on the court for you. We really appreciate and are grateful for the way you cheer for us.
