Alex Poythress: "It was a really good team effort"

Zenit center Alex Poythress shared his thoughts after the home victory over Uralmash (91:86). In the game against the Yekaterinburg team, he scored 13 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, dished out 1 assist, and made 1 block.

— I thought we played really well most of the game for 38 minutes. I thought it was a really good team effort. We shared the ball. Everybody got shots, we have to be more focused controlling our emotions and play a complete game. We're out there. We're fighting hard so we have to play a complete game. When we have leads like that when it's like 10-15 points we've got to learn how to maintain it or keep it going for 40 minutes. so that's on us as players. We're getting better each and every day and we're gonna work.

— Today you played against one of the best rebounding teams. Did you feel that at all?

— We only held them to nine offensive rebounds and I'm sure three of them were in the last two minutes. So I thought we're doing a good job there. And then also when you go against a rebounding team, that's so well you also gotta get offensive rebounds and I thought we did a good job of doing that's crashing the boards.
