The VTB League has released calendar for the 2025/26 season
In the 2025/26 campaign, 11 teams will take part, playing a four-round regular season: each team will face every other team twice at home and twice away. In total, Zenit will play 40 games.
At the end of the regular season, the top eight clubs will advance to the playoffs, which will follow the traditional format: quarterfinals and the third-place series will be played to three wins, while semifinals and finals will be played to four wins. There will be no play-in stage in the upcoming season.
For the Blue-White-Sky Blues, the regular season will start on October 1 in St. Petersburg at the CSC Arena. Aleksander Sekulic’s squad will open the season with a home game against Avtodor. The next two regular season super matches — against UNICS and CSKA — will also be held in the Northern Capital, on October 4 and 12 respectively. Zenit will also finish the regular season at home, with games against UNICS (April 15) and CSKA (April 22).
In addition, next season will feature a new tournament organized by the League. The competition will start in October 2025 and conclude in March 2026 in a Final Four format.
All home games of both tournaments will be played at CSC Arena.
In September, Zenit will take part in the VTB United League Supercup and the home Kondrashin and Belov Cup, as well as play a series of international friendly games. A detailed schedule of the main team’s preseason preparations you can find here.
