Andrey Vorontsevich: "We’ll be working on our mistakes"
Zenit forward Andrey Vorontsevich shared his thoughts after the team’s away loss to CSKA (85:62) in Game 4 of the VTB United League finals.
— First of all, congratulations to CSKA on the win. Of course, we understand that trailing by as much as 41 points during the game is completely unacceptable. We’ll review everything. Right now, it’s all just emotions, but it’s clear we need to work on our mistakes. And above all, I think we lacked the right mindset. We know that we’re missing a few players — we wish them a speedy recovery. We’ll analyze the game and correct our mistakes. Obviously, no one likes losing. But the series is tied 2-2, so the intrigue remains — we’re moving forward. We’re getting ready for the next game, since there are only three days left before Game 5. There’s no point in being too upset. We need to forget this like a bad dream and keep going. We’ll be ready.
