Georgy Zhbanov: “No nerves — we’re going there to win”
— You’re heading to Yekaterinburg for two games. Any nerves before the trip?
— No nerves at all. It’s my hometown, so I’m happy to go back. We’re going there to win. We expect a tough, physical game with a lot of contact — and we’re ready for it.
— The home games were very different. What positives from Game 2 should carry over into the next matchup?
— Our mindset, the way we trusted each other, moved the ball — it was a completely different team compared to Game 1. The level of concentration and trust was very high. We need to keep that going, and everything will work out.
— The local fans will be very vocal, as always. What’s the key to staying focused in that kind of atmosphere?
— The atmosphere in Yekaterinburg is always great. They support their team активно, and it’s actually enjoyable to play in that environment. There’s no need to say much — everyone will embrace it and do their best to win.
