Georgy Zhbanov: "Everyone who stepped on the court fought and played for the team"

Zenit’s guard Georgy Zhbanov commented on the away victory over Uralmash (67:81). The match against the Yekaterinburg team took place as part of the 38th round of the VTB United League regular season.

— It was a tough game. We started poorly, but in the second half, we managed to turn things around. Everyone who stepped on the court fought, played for the team, and showed great desire. Uralmash is a serious team. We always treat them with great respect. We won, and now we move on.

— Today, the stands were full, and the fans were loudly supporting the home team. Did that affect you in any way?

— The atmosphere here is always fantastic. The fans really support their team. It’s great to play in a packed arena, but I don’t think it affected us in any way. We love it all, we enjoy basketball.
