Vince Hunter: "I'll be back next season"
Zenit center Vince Hunter shared his opinion on the victory over Loko (88:77) in the last match of the season and promised to return next season.
— Vince, how do you feel after this game and after winning bronze?
— I'm just happy that the season is over. It's been a long and hard year, I'm a little tired. So I'm glad that it's over now, we need to start recovering and preparing for next season.
— Are you happy?
— No, I'm not happy. We took only the third place, I don't know who is happy about this. Even if you tell me to be happy about the bronze medal, I still want to play in the finals every year. I want to win the finals every year.
— You were the best player in this match, you often became the best during the season. How do you do it?
— As I said before, this is just a series for the third place. So it doesn't mean anything. We are not in the finals so that I can show my best. It's good that we ended this season with some kind of reward, but like I said, I want to play in the finals, and that's all I'm worried about.
— What would you say to Zenit fans after this season?
— I felt great all year in St. Petersburg, the organization is great here, the fans loved me. Everything that happened outside the court was great for the most part. I've received so much love from the fans, I really appreciate it and, of course, I'll be back next season. Thanks guys! Thank you, Saint Petersburg!
