Thank you for two seasons, Andrey!

Basketball club Zenit and guard Andrey Toptunov have agreed to terminate the contract. The player will continue his career with another team.

Andrey moved to St. Petersburg in the summer of 2021 from Yaroslavl's Burevestnik. He regularly contributed to the main team and was also one of the key stars of Zenit's development system, first in the Youth Basketball League and then in the Superleague. In 2022, Toptunov helped Zenit-M win the gold medals of the VTB Youth United League, becoming the MVP of the Final Eight, and in the following season, he made it into the tournament's All-Star Five.

The 20-year-old Toptunov leaves Zenit as the Russian champion, the VTB United League champion, as well as the winner of the United League Supercup and the Kondrashin and Belov Cup.
