Sergey Karasev to return for ninth season with Zenit!
The upcoming campaign will mark Karasev's ninth season in the Blue-White-Sky Blues jersey. A Saint Petersburg native, Sergey has been an integral part of the club's most successful era, helping Zenit capture the VTB United League and Russian Championship titles, the Russian Cup, two VTB United League Supecups, and five Kondrashin and Belov Cups.
Karasev also holds several major club records. He is Zenit's all-time leader in games played with 369 appearances, while also ranking first in franchise history in points (3,276), rebounds (969) and steals (306).
During the 2025/26 season, Karasev appeared in 36 VTB United League regular season and playoff games, while also playing six games in the WINLINE Basket Cup.
