Thank you, Oliver!

Zenit-2 head coach Oliver Popović is leaving the club upon the expiration of his contract.

The Serbian specialist led the farm team of the Blue-White-Sky Blues for two seasons between 2024 and 2026.

In his very first season at the helm of Zenit-2, Popović led a team composed primarily of products from the Basketball Academy to the Super League semifinals — with Zenit fighting for medals until the very end. In the current season, the St. Petersburg farm team was eliminated in the Super League play-in stage, but they made a splash in the Russian Cup, defeating a VTB United League club in the quarterfinals, though they were unable to advance further in the tournament.
