Educational event for coaches held at the Zenit Basketball Academy
A seminar for coaches and aspiring specialists took place at the Zenit Basketball Academy.

As part of the educational workshop, Sergey Elevich, Head of the High School of Coaches, along with Zenit U19 coaches Dmitry Nikolaev, Sergey Grishaev, and Alexander Mrykhin, used a classic youth team training session as an example to address aspects of the preparatory and developmental phases of a basketball practice, triangle offense, specifics of working with tall players, and much more.
The seminar was organized by Zenit BC in cooperation with the High School of Coaches at Lesgaft National State University, and the St. Petersburg Basketball Federation. The event was part of a comprehensive educational program aimed at improving the qualifications of basketball specialists.

Sergey Elevich, Head of the High School of Coaches, USSR Master of sports, and Honored coach of Russia:
First and foremost, I want to thank the management of the Zenit Basketball Club, because this seminar we are conducting helps improve the qualifications of coaching staff. The Club, the High School of Coaches, and the St. Petersburg Basketball Federation are probably among the few places that provide opportunities for aspiring basketball specialists to learn.
The Zenit coaches have proven themselves to be very strong. Winning gold medals in the VTB Youth League is proof of that. And I think that this season, Zenit's main team will finally have its say as well. So, in my opinion, this is one of the most significant projects I have seen in recent years. Many thanks to everyone who is taking part in this and helping to train coaching staff. They, in turn, will raise the kids who will later come to us at Zenit.
