Igor Volkhin and Pavel Zemskiy return to Zenit

Forwards Igor Volkhin and Pavel Zemskiy are returning to Zenit Basketball Club. The players spent part of the 2025/26 season with Avtodor Saratov.

In the current VTB United League season, Igor Volkhin played 34 games for the Saratov team (33 as a starter), averaging 10.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.0 steal, and 0.7 assists in 31 minutes on the court.

Pavel Zemskiy began the regular season with Zenit, appearing in 11 games for the St. Petersburg team (including 2 games in the WINLINE Basket Cup). In December, the forward moved to Avtodor on loan, where he took the court in 23 games (13 as a starter), posting the following averages: 9.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.5 blocks in 28 minutes of playing time.

Now both players will join the main Zenit team’s training process and will prepare for the playoffs together with the Blue-White-Sky Blues.
