Zenit U19 will start in the CYBL Championship Final Eight
Tomorrow, April 11, the Final Eight of the Russian U19 Championship for the 2025/26 season will begin in Krasnodar. The decisive games of the Children's Youth Basketball League will take place at the Lokomotiv Kuban training center court. The final game is scheduled for April 16.
Once again, the Blue-White-Sky Blues will be represented in the Final Eight by Zenit U19, the winners of the last two CYBL Championships. Dmitry Nikolaev’s team has already arrived in Krasnodar and is ready to defend its championship title.
The Final Eight participants will be divided into two groups. The St. Petersburg team has been placed in Group B together with Moscow teams MBA-CYBL and CSKA-CYBL, as well as Nizhny Novgorod — FOK Meshchersky. Group A includes the host team SSOR Lokomotiv Kuban-CYBL, Moscow’s SSOR CSKA, Khimki's UOR №3, and Chelyabinsk's CBK-2.

After the group stage concludes, the knockout games will begin: the top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals in a cross format, while the remaining teams will play for places 5-8. Group stage games are scheduled for April 11-13, the semifinals will take place on April 15, and the final along with placement games will be held on April 16.
