Alexander Porotnikov named to the symbolic five of of March in the Youth League

Zenit U21 guard Alexander Porotnikov has been named to the symbolic five of the month for March in the VTB United Youth League. Earlier in the 2025/26 season, the product of the Blue-White-Sky Blues Basketball Academy had already been selected to the team of the month twice and was also named MVP of the month twice — in November and February.

In March, the St. Petersburg team recorded seven wins in eight games. Porotnikov took part in all of his team’s games, averaging 18.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 4.3 assists, with an efficiency rating of 22.4. Twice this month, the guard scored 25 points in a game — a personal scoring record in the Youth League.
