Georgy Zhbanov: "We gathered our strength and secured a confident victory"

— In the first half, MBA indeed looked fresher. You couldn't tell they had just flown in from Vladivostok. But it's okay, the coach made it clear to us during the break that if we continued playing like that, we'd have practice tomorrow. We decided to earn ourselves a day off (laughs), gathered our strength, and saw the game through to a confident victory.

— From the sidelines, it seemed like you quite easily turned the tide of the game in your favor in the second half. Was that really the case?

— No, it's never easy to play against anyone in this League, even against an opponent like MBA, which has a fully Russian core. We had to put in a lot of effort to achieve such a result. And so it came.

— You quite often make three-pointers off the glass, which also happened today. What's the secret?

— The secret is confidence, probably. You have to believe in yourself, and everything will be fine.
