Children's youth teams completed the second round of the CYBL Championship semifinal stage
The Blue-White-Sky Blues children's youth teams — Zenit U19, Zenit-2009, and Zenit-2010 — have completed their participation in the second round of the semifinal stage of the Russian U19 Championship (Children's Youth Basketball League). The games of the penultimate stage of the CYBL in the 2025/26 season took place from February 23 to March 1. Here is a summary of the performances of the St. Petersburg teams.
Zenit U19 competed in Group P2-1 from February 24 to March 1, where all participants had already secured qualification for the final stage of the tournament. Dmitry Nikolaev’s team finished 3rd, earning victories over SSOR CSKA (79:66), NN–FOK Meshchersky (90:49), and UOR №3 — Khimki (91:43), while suffering defeats against SSOR-Lokomotiv-Kuban-CYBL (61:99) and MBA-CYBL (70:72). Based on the results of this stage, the teams will be distributed into groups for the Final Eight, which will take place in mid-April. More detailed information will be published later.

Zenit-2009, coached by Vladislav Shumkov, recorded one victory and finished 6th in Group P2-3, whose games were held in Krasnodar. Zenit-2010, which played in Nizhny Tagil under the guidance of Vadim Dodeus, also secured one win and finished 5th in Group P2-6. For these two teams, the Children's Youth Basketball League season has come to an end.
