Ivan Vasiliev — in the symbolic five of the VTB Youth League in January

Zenit U21 forward Ivan Vasiliev was named to the symbolic five of the VTB United Youth League in January.

Last month, the player participated in all six away games of the regular season, winning four of them with the Blue-White-Sky Blues. On average per game, Vasiliev scored 13.2 points, grabbed 8.7 rebounds, made 1.0 assist, 0.8 steals, with an efficiency rating of 18.3. Ivan shared his impressions of making the tournament’s top five players for the second consecutive time:

I’m very glad to have made the monthly five again. January had quite important games, with both positive and negative moments. The team achieved certain results, but there’s still an important end to the regular season ahead. So we continue to work hard, as we need to play the remaining games at a high level.
