Zenit Academy will compete in the Winline Russian Championship 3x3

January 27, 2026

Zenit Academy is entering the season and will begin competing in the Winline Russian Basketball Championship 3x3.

The Blue-White-Sky Blues roster includes Artemiy Koshev (born 2006), Maxim Rudko (2006), Artem Khodorich (2002), Ilyas Abdul (2004), Georgy Omelnitsky (2003), Zakhar Romashov (2005), and Dmitry Rodionov (2004). The team will be coached by Zenit Basketball Academy coach Sergey Sylko.

The Russian Championship 3x3 has the following format: each participating team competes in four Challenge tandems, within each of which qualification for a Master tandem takes place. The overall champion is determined based on the results of all eight tandems.

To earn a spot in the Master tandem, a team must finish first or second in the group stage and win a decider game at the Challenge tandem. Teams that lose their crossover matches will also have a chance to qualify for the Master tandem based on additional criteria (win percentage, average scoring, etc.), but only if there are vacant spots remaining after wild cards have been allocated to the host teams of the tandems.

The first games of the championship will be held in Moscow at the MEGA Belaya Dacha. Zenit Academy will compete in a double Challenge tandem on January 28 and 30. Match schedule:
