Six Zenit players called up to the Russian national team
The Russian Basketball Federation has announced the roster of the national team for the upcoming training camp.
Twenty players have been invited to take part in the training activities, while six more have been included on the reserve list and may be called up at any stage by head coach Zoran Lukic. The team will assemble on February 24 at the Novogorsk Training Center, with the main part of the camp taking place from February 25 to March 2 at the Paramonovo sports complex.
The main roster of the Russian national team includes players from the Zenit Basketball Academy: center Ilya Krivykh, forward Egor Evstafiev, guard Alexander Porotnikov, as well as Blue-White-Sky Blues forward Pavel Zemskiy, who is currently playing for Saratov’s Avtodor on loan. In addition, Zenit-2 guard Ivan Prokopenko and Zenit U21 forward Ivan Vasiliev have been included on the reserve list.
