Zenit-2 will close the first half of the regular season at home

Tomorrow, December 28, the farm team of the Blue-White-Sky Blues will play against Magnitogorsk's Metallurg. The match will take place as part of the 14th round of the FONBET Super League and will be the last for the Petersburg team in the first half of the regular championship. The game will be held at the Basketball Academy (Severnaya Road, 12) and will start at 19:00 local time. Admission for fans is free!

Metallurg came to the end of the first half of the season in 11th place in the standings. In 13 games, Vadim Filatov's team has achieved 5 victories, most of which came at the start of the season. In the last 7 matches, the guests have only one victory at home against Barnaul — 82:67.

Since Metallurg is only in its second season in the Super League, tomorrow's meeting will be only the third direct encounter between our teams. Both matches of the 2024/25 season have ended in favor of Zenit-2.

Blue-White-Sky Blues guard Ivan Prokopenko shared a comment before the home game:
