Aleksander Sekulic: "We can be really satisfied"

Zenit head coach Aleksander Sekulić summed up the results of the 15th round regular season game of the VTB United League. The home matchup against Enisey ended in a 105:81 victory for the Blue-White-Sky Blues.

— First of all, we can be really satisfied with most of the match, even though we started the game especially on defense a little bit with being late on every situation, but once we settled this down, I think we played a good game and won and did the job what was expected from us.

— Last match against Enisey was unsuccessful for Zenit. Did you keep this game in mind or is it a forgotten story?

— Just like you said. Different game, different circumstances. We just had only nine players available for the practice due to injuries and sickness so it was very difficult for us to play this match even though I think we could have won also there but. Coming into this match we knew who we are facing. We knew their qualities. And you know, like I said in different circumstances we played a very good match.

— Second quarter was the key to the game. What was the most important thing?

— Both teams played pretty quick basketball, they ran fast to offense, they make some trouble to us. But the thing that we improved, I always say it's not about what we do on defense, but how we do it. It's about the effort, the commitment. And this is something that we improved much better.
