Neno Dimitrijevic: "They play much better now than in the beginning of the season"

Interview with Zenit guard Neno Dimitrijevic ahead of the home game against Samara. The 14th round game of the VTB United League regular season will take place tomorrow, December 10, at the CSC Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 20:00 St. Petersburg time, tickets are available on the club’s website.

— Neno, Samara didn’t win a single game, what are your expectations?

— For sure we can not underestimate no one in this league. I think that they play much better now than in the beginning. So we have to be ready for the game.

— Did you have enough time to rest and recover after two away games?

— It was a tough trip but we are professionals, everybody has to do recovery. So I think we are going to be ready for tomorrow.

— What did you do during your day off?

— I just spent time with my kid. And that’s all. So I’m ready for the game.

— What is the main strength of Samara?

— They run, so we have to control it. They also have good players. So we must make their life as difficult as possible.

— Zenit will play four games in a row at home. What would you like to say to the fans?

— We missed the fans, we missed playing at home. Before Christmas break we will play four games at home. Hopefully we will win all of them.
