The farm team will play an away game against Temp-SUMZ
Zenit-2 has arrived in Revda and continues preparations for tomorrow’s match against Temp-SUMZ. The away game against the Urals team will take place as part of the 8th round of the FONBET Super League regular season.
The reigning champion of the tournament is once again holding a high position in the standings this season. Temp-SUMZ is in 2nd place, ahead of its competitors thanks to a better point differential. At the moment, Alexey Lobanov’s team has earned 5 wins in 7 games, losing only in away matches against Chelyabinsk’s CBK and Primorye’s Dynamo.
On November 12, just like Zenit players, Temp-SUMZ played its first game of the Gazprombank Russian Cup Round of 16. Their opponent was once again CBK, and the game in Chelyabinsk ended with a home-court victory for the hosts, 80:79.
Despite several players leaving during the offseason, Temp-SUMZ has kept the core of its championship roster, and the team’s leading scorer — just like last season — remains Ivan Evstigneev. In the FONBET Super League, the guard averages 18.9 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.1 steals in 27 minutes on the court, making him the top scorer of the regular season at the moment.

Last season, our teams faced each other the maximum number of times. During the regular season, they exchanged road victories, and then fate brought them together again in the semifinals. In the playoffs, each team won only on its home court: first, Revda’s team won twice at home, then the blue-white-sky blues responded with two victories in St. Petersburg. The decisive game was held in the Urals — Temp-SUMZ won and advanced to the finals to compete for the gold medals.
In total, Zenit-2 and Temp-SUMZ have played 19 games against each other, and the clear advantage remains with the Revda team — 16 wins to 3 for the St. Petersburg side.

Zenit-2 forward Mikhail Dulkay shared his thoughts before the game:
Tomorrow we face a very serious opponent, the reigning Super League champion. The team plays a very tough style, and they have many experienced players. That’s why we really need your support during tomorrow’s broadcast — everyone, join in!
The game will start at 16:00 St. Petersburg time. The match broadcast will be available on the official website of the Russian Basketball Federation.
