Zenit-2 begins the Gazprombank Russian Cup with a defeat

Zenit-2 lost on the road to Surgut’s Yugra in the first match of the Round of 16 of the Gazprombank Russian Cup. The game ended with a score of 89:83 in favor of the home team.

Throughout the match, both teams displayed an even fight, with the lead changing hands multiple times. Before the halftime break, the Blue-White-Sky Blues had a chance to pull ahead, gaining a 10-point advantage. However, Yugra soon narrowed the gap on the scoreboard and took control in the second half.
