Enisey vs Zenit. Preview

October 31, 2025
This Saturday, November 1, the Blue-White-Sky Blues will play an away game against Krasnoyarsk’s Enisey. The match will take place as part of Round 8 of the regular season of the VTB United League. Zenit approaches tomorrow’s game on a four-game unbeaten streak.

Opponent

The 2025/26 season hasn’t started easily for the Krasnoyarsk team. For six straight games, Jovica Arsic’s squad couldn’t secure its first win, often falling just short of victory. The long-awaited triumph came only in the previous round of the regular season: on October 29, Enisey defeated Pari Nizhny Novgorod on the road, 61:80.

The renewed Siberian roster, as last year, includes a large number of talented young Russian players, but Enisey also features a trio of standout foreign players. During the summer, American guards Dominic Artis and Matt Coleman, as well as Serbian forward Danilo Tasic, joined the Krasnoyarsk side. Tasic has already become a full-fledged team leader, averaging 14.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.7 blocks in 28 minutes per game.

This season, Enisey also features two players on loan from the Zenit Basketball Academy — Egor Ryzhov (7.8 points, 5.6 rebounds) and Artem Antipov (7.7 points, 4.3 rebounds).

Head-to-head

The victory that Krasnoyarsk achieved in February 2024 on their home court remains their only win in head-to-head meetings with Zenit — the record stands at 28:1 in favor of the Blue-White-Sky Blues.

Direct speech

Zenit head coach Aleksander Sekulic on the opponent:

They are a team. They play good basketball. They show they can compete. They play against good teams also. They show quality, they have good players, good coach who is there for more than two years I think.
So for Zenit it is always not easy to play there, so we're going to have to go there confident in what we do and especially with the defensive mindset to defend in the best possible way because we don't want this team who has ability to score, to let them score.

Who. Where. When.
