Welcome, Andrey!

Zenit Basketball Сlub has signed a contract with Andrey Martiuk. The agreement with the 25-year-old Russian center is valid for 3 years — until the end of the 2027/28 season.

Since 2019, Martiuk has been part of the Lokomotiv Kuban basketball system. Starting with appearances for the youth squads of the Krasnodar club, he quickly earned a call-up to the senior team and made his debut in the VTB United League on September 26, 2020.

In the 2020/21 season, Martiuk became a silver medalist in the Youth League and was named to the symbolic five of Final Eight.

With the Lokomotiv Kuban senior team, Andrey won silver medals in the VTB United League, the Russian Championship, and the Super Cup in 2023. He was also named the League's Young Player of the Year twice (2022, 2023) and earned MVP of the Month honors in December 2023.

In the 2024/25 season, Martiuk played in 50 VTB United League games, averaging 8.1 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.0 assist, 0.6 blocks and 0.4 steals in 16 minutes per game.

Since 2019, the center has been involved with various Russian national teams, including the senior national squad.
