The Russia U16 national team played two friendly matches against the junior team of Belarus. In the first game on June 26, Roman Knyazev’s squad won in overtime with a score of 91:88, while in the second game on June 28, they lost in a tense finish (86:87). Yesterday, the highest-scoring player for the Russians was the St. Petersburg guard Nikolay Sevostyanov — 24 points, 4 steals, with one assist and one rebound.

The U21 national team, which includes the forward of the Blue-White-Sky Blues team Egor Evstafiev, also played a series of friendlies. On June 21, the team lost to their peers from Serbia (63:74), and on June 22, they were defeated by Slovenia U20 (94:97). In the game against Slovenia, Evstafiev scored 27 points, 9 assists, 4 rebounds and 2 steals, becoming the top scorer of the national team. The match against Armenia U20 took place on June 27 and ended with a Russian victory — 90:82. In this game, Evstafiev recorded 8 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 1 block. Additionally, the U18 national team has begun its training camp. The roster includes Academy players Dmitry Chikishev, Ivan Vasiliev and Mikhail Presnyakov. The camp will continue until July 8 in Paramonovo near Moscow, after which the team will play a series of friendly matches.
