Zenit Basketball Academy players — winners of the summer Spartakiad

The Saint Petersburg team claimed victory in the final of the 6th Summer Spartakiad for juniors born in 2008–2009.
In the decisive match held today, June 16, in Krasnodar, the St. Petersburg team defeated Moscow with a score of 70:62. On their way to the gold medals, Dmitry Nikolaev’s squad, composed of players from Zenit’s children's youth teams, remained undefeated.
The tournament MVP was named as St. Petersburg guard Anton Suikonen. In the final against Moscow, he was the top scorer on the court with 17 points. Additionally, guard Semyon Ananyin also entered the symbolic top five of the competition.
