Elkhan Akhmedov leaves Zenit-2

Upon the expiration of his contract, Russian guard and team captain Elkhan Akhmedov is leaving Zenit-2. He will continue his career with another club.

Elkhan joined the farm team in the summer of 2023 and played a key role in the two best seasons in Zenit-2’s history. For two consecutive years, the blue-whites competed for medals in the Fonbet Super League, growing more confident with each season in the regular championship and in the playoffs.

In the recently concluded Super League season, the guard appeared in 24 games, averaging 7.4 points, 4 assists, 2.2 rebounds and 0.7 steals in 21 minutes on the court.
