Zenit-2 will play decisive match of Fonbet Super League semifinals
The blue-whites farm team continues preparing for the fifth game of the Fonbet Super League semifinal series. The decisive match against Temp-SUMZ will take place on April 27 at the opponent’s court in Revda.
After losing the first two away games, Oliver Popovic’s squad managed to turn the series around by winning two games on their home court. The fourth semifinal match was arguably one of the most intense of the season. The X-factor for Zenit-2 was forward Pavel Zemskiy, whose 15-point surge in the third quarter energized the team and gave hope for an eventual 84:79 victory.
Up next is the seventh head-to-head meeting of the season. During the regular season, both teams claimed victories away from home, but in the playoffs, wins have only been achieved on home courts. Tomorrow's match will settle everything: who will advance to the Super League final and who will compete for the bronze medal.

Zenit-2’s head coach Oliver Popovic shared his thoughts ahead of the final game in the series:
We managed to bring the series back to Revda. Tomorrow we will play the fifth and decisive game. Just like in the last two games, we face a tough challenge. We will do everything we can to reach the final. Regardless of the result, I am proud of my team.
The game will start at 16:00 St. Petersburg time. A live broadcast will be available on the website of the Russian Basketball Federation.
