The youth team defeats Enisey-2 in the home series
Zenit U21 played a series of games against Krasnoyarsk's Enisey-2 as part of the regular season of the VTB United Youth League. The matches with the Siberian team took place on April 4 and 5 at the Basketball Academy court.

Both games were completely controlled by the home team. In the first game, Zenit U21 came just one point short of hitting the century mark and won with a score of 99:43. The standout players for the St. Petersburg side were center Mikhail Presnyakov (17 points + 6 rebounds) and guard Artemiy Koshev (15 points + 5 rebounds + 3 assists + 2 steals). The second game ended 96:48, with forwards Ivan Kasyanov (15 points + 4 steals + 2 rebounds + 1 block) and Timur Ivanov (15 points + 6 rebounds) leading the scoring.

Overall, the games turned out to be quite predictable, without any surprises. We approached these matches as preparation for the upcoming games against MBA. So, the true results of our work will only become clear on April 8-9.
With one round left in the regular season, Zenit’s youth team holds onto 4th place in the standings. On April 8 and 9, the blue-whites will host MBA-MAI-Junior on the home court.
