Zenit-2 will finish the regular season with a home match against SSOR Loko
The Krasnodar team has been struggling, losing nine consecutive games and currently sitting at the bottom of the standings. The last victory for Milos Pavicevic's squad came at the end of January when they edged out Vladivostok’s Dynamo in a tense finish (78:77). Also Krasnodar lost their top scorer and leader, center Alimjan Fedyushin, who transferred to Vladivostok. Without him, Loko faces a tough challenge.
Zenit-2 enters the match as the league's highest-scoring team, averaging 82.2 points per game, as well as the leader in rebounds (40.1). SSOR Loko falls behind in these metrics (77.6 points and 37.1 rebounds), but they stand out in another category: Krasnodar averages 3.3 blocks per game — the best result in the tournament alongside Novosibirsk. Zenit-2, in comparison, records 2.6 blocks per game.
The head-to-head record stands at 4:1 in favor of the blue-whites. The first-round match ended with a 90:85 victory for St. Petersburg.

Zenit-2 head coach Oliver Popovic shared his thoughts ahead of the game against Loko:
This is the last game of the regular season. Regardless of the result against Lokomotiv, we will remain in fourth place before the playoffs. However, we will take this game very seriously and do everything to win. I hope we can give more playing time to those who have had fewer minutes. We need to give 100% effort.
The match will take place on March 23 at the Zenit Basketball Academy (Severnaya Road, 12). Tip-off is at 16:00 St. Petersburg time. Entry for fans is free. The game will be streamed on the Russian Basketball Federation's website.
