Zenit children's youth teams will compete in the home Semifinal stage of the Russian junior Championship

From March 14 to 19, matches of group "P3-1" of the third round of the Semifinal stage of the Russian U19 Championship will take place in St. Petersburg at the Kupchinsky Olimp sports school.

This group includes teams that have already secured their place in the Final Eight of the Children's Youth Basketball League. Among them are Zenit U19, coached by Dmitry Nikolaev, and Zenit 2008, led by Petar Marinkovic. The main goal of the upcoming games is to determine the team distribution for the final stage. In addition to the Zenit teams, "P3-1" will feature Rusichi-CYBL from Kursk, CSKA-CYBL and MBA-CYBL from Moscow and also Samara-CYBL.

Another St. Petersburg team, Zenit-2009, coached by Vladislav Shumkov, will begin their third-round games of the CYBL Semifinal stage slightly earlier. Group "P3-5" matches will be held in St. Petersburg from March 13 to 18 at the Vasilyevsky District Sports School. At this stage, the blue-whites will compete against Moscow Vityazi (Moscow), Olimpiets (Perm), IVS sports school (Tula), basketball school Enisey (Krasnoyarsk Krai), and SSOR №2 Juventa (Tolyatti).
