The youth team will play against Enisey-2 in Krasnoyarsk
Zenit U21 is heading to Krasnoyarsk, where they will play against the local team Enisey-2 as part of the next round of the VTB United Youth League regular season.
At the moment, Krasnoyarsk’s team is at the bottom of the standings, holding the 16th place. They have secured only one victory so far, which came back in November in a home game against MINSK-M (81:67).
Despite their low team performance, Enisey-2 has some outstanding individual players. Their leader, guard Egor Skuratov, is the top scorer of the Youth League, averaging 19.3 points per game. Additionally, he leads his team in key statistical categories: 7.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.8 steals per game. Another key player for the Siberian team is center Danil Zavorotniy, who averages 2.2 blocks per game, ranking second among all players in the regular season.
In the history of encounters between Zenit U21 and Enisey-2, the teams have played 40 matches: blue-whites has won 36 times, while Krasnoyarsk has come out on top four times.

Head coach of Zenit U21 Roman Knyazev on the games against Enisey-2:
We are heading on our longest road trip in terms of distance. Our lineup won’t be the most optimal, which is actually a good opportunity for players who haven’t had much game time to prove themselves. I expect them to showcase their best qualities. Our opponent is quite physically strong and tall, so we need to play fast and efficiently to achieve the desired result.
Both games will take place at the Krasnoyarsk sports complex. The match on February 18 will start at 13:00 St. Petersburg time, while the game on February 19 will begin at 11:00. The broadcast will be available on the VTB United Youth League website.
